Almuñécar

Almuñécar is one of those Spanish resorts that doesn't seem to have quite succumbed to the full-on package holiday treatment, and that is probably its biggest attraction.

Cadiz

Cádiz is one of those places that makes you wonder why it doesn't get talked about more. While millions of visitors pile into Barcelona, Madrid and the Costa del Sol, Cádiz sits down in the far southwest of Spain, jutting out into the Atlantic like a rather weather-beaten ship, quietly getting on with being one of the country's most fascinating cities.

Ronda is one of those places where the scenery is so spectacular that you can forgive it for being extremely popular with tourists.
Perched dramatically on a plateau in the mountains of Málaga province, Ronda is divided in two by the enormous El Tajo gorge, with the Guadalevín River far below.

Seville

Seville is one of those cities that seems to have been designed specifically to show off Spain at its most flamboyant. Grand buildings, orange trees, tiled courtyards, horse-drawn carriages, tapas bars, flamenco, sunshine and enough history to fill several books — Seville has the lot.
And unlike some of Spain's larger cities, it doesn't feel as though you're constantly fighting your way through traffic.
