Bath
Bath is one of those places that has been getting tourists for so long that you sometimes wonder whether the Romans are still wandering around looking for the queue.
It is, however, very difficult to dislike Bath.

Bristol
People who live in Bristol like to tell you it's "a vibrant city with a unique identity." That's estate-agent speak for, "It's got graffiti, lots of hills and parking is impossible."
Not that there's anything wrong with Bristol. Quite the opposite, in fact. Spend a day here and you'll find yourself rather liking the place. Spend two days here and you'll be wondering why your calves ache.

Cotswolds
If ever there was a part of England designed to appear on a box of chocolates, it is the Cotswolds. Eden Project
There are some attractions where you arrive and immediately think, “Well, I wasn't expecting that.” The Eden Project is definitely one of them.

Wells
Wells is one of those places that you can visit without needing to take a week off work. It is a small city in Somerset and, if we're being honest, the Cathedral is the main reason most people come here.
That isn't meant as a criticism. Wells Cathedral is an impressive reason to visit anywhere.

Westonbirt
If you like trees, Westonbirt Arboretum is somewhere you really ought to visit. If you don't like trees, I'm afraid you're going to struggle with this one.
Set near Tetbury in Gloucestershire, Westonbirt is one of Britain's finest arboretums, with an enormous collection of trees and shrubs spread across a beautifully landscaped estate.
